Hello Everyone, Does anyone have a copy of "Kith and Kin of Boone County, West Virginia", Volume XVI, page 55 & 56, and could take a look to see if Sanford Brogan had a son named Sylvester. Also, there is another book called my Brogan Connection or ?, I'm not sure about the name. SANFORD BROGAN I was born October 7, 1854 in Virginia, and died May 1912. He married (1) ALMEDA VICTORIA MIDKIFF December 24, 1874 in Kanawha County, West Virginia, daughter of ALLEN MIDKIFF and LOUISA NICHOLS. She was born May 29, 1857 in Virginia. He married (2) ELIZABETH WARNER November 26, 1883 in Kanawha County, West Virginia. He married (3) EMILY H. MURPHY March 1, 1891. She was born June 1858 in Virginia. Children of SANFORD BROGAN and ALMEDA MIDKIFF are: i. SAFRONIA BROGAN, b. 1876, West Virginia. ii. LOUISA BROGAN, b. 1878, West Virginia; d. November 26, 1883. iii. WILLIAM BROGAN, b. December 15, 1879, West Virginia. (Could this have been Sylvester?) Children of SANFORD BROGAN and ELIZABETH WARNER are: iv. JAMES E. BROGAN, b. June 1885. v. HUGH BROGAN, b. August 1888.
