Judy, Thanks for the message. It turns out that the family information was incorrect. Lacy R. Brooks died in a mine within five miles of where I live right now. He had a brother living in Upshur County. He was accidentally electrocuted in a mine in 1911, not 1910. He was buried in Southern Upshur County, and his brother and sister-in-law buried beside him. Strange how things turn out. I tracked him down in a book at West Virginia University WV and Regional History Collection. The book is a compilation of mine fatalities in the state. Ralph
