MAMIE BROWN ZIMMERMAN, age 91, died Tuesday, July 24, 2001, at Madison Pointe Rehabilitation & Nursing Center, New Port Richey, FL. She was preceded in death by her husband, FRANK B. ZIMMERMAN, of Columbus, Ohio, and also by all her siblings: NONA BROWN (Mrs. CROCKETT) WEBB, MYRTLE BROWN (Mrs. HENRY J.) WERNER, ORA BROWN (Mrs. W.L.) PERRY, and ALVIN BROWN. Mamie was born 23 Feb 1910 at home at Gordon (Boone County), WV, the youngest child of EDITHA LINVILLE and THOMAS SODER BROWN. She was the grandaughter of MARTHA J. (WALKER) and ELIJAH BROWN, and NANCY (WHITE) and PRESTON P. LINVILLE, JR., all of Boone County, WV. Survivors include her only child, son DONALD GENE ZIMMERMAN, Columbus, OH; neices, DANA WEBB YEAGER, Brandon, FL and CHARLOTTE YEAGER, Gordon, WV; many great, great-great, and great-great-great neices and nephews.
