Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/jEC.2ACI/483.491.589.594.599.1.1.1 Message Board Post: we are kin!!!....that is everyone i remember, anna lee was my dad's sister, i spent christmas with them when i was little, she would make me mashed potatoes and gravy and i would eat the whole bowl. i don't think i ever met you? is my grandmother still alive? where do we come from? my mom tried to stay in touch with my grandmother, for awhile, but as time went on, she lost contact with her, i believe she was still living in suffolk at the time. my mom doesn't talk much about the past, it's not neccessary to stir up old hurts for her, because she is my whole life and i would do nothing to hurt her, but i still have this nagging need to know more about "MY" roots. i am so glad you replied, i would love for you to contact me please at - irishbred2@aol.com - anytime. my mom said my dad passed away due to cancer? he never once tried to see me, i hope he had regrets before he passed, cause i turned out to be a pretty good person. well thank you "kin" for being a part of my ! now extended family, i have two sons, a great husband and i just had my 46th birthday. i can't wait to hear from you!!!!! god bless, michele
