    1. 1910 Census
    2. Hello, If someone has the 1910 census of Boone County, I'd like to request a lookup. That census is supposed to indicate Civil War service. If I understand correctly it has UA if the person served in the Union Army; UN=Union Navy; CA=Confederate Army; and CN=Confederate Navy. I'd like to know what is written for Middleton/Mid Ferrell of Boone County. Thank you for your time. Pam

    1. Re: Lillian Keffer
    2. I think the one born with the name Crotty was Perry. I don't know if he used that surname later in life or not, but most of the others used Keffer. I have marriages for: Charles W., John Arnett, Frank Ira, Lester Kelly, and Lillian, but not the others. If you know of any, I'd like to hear of them. Wm. Hansford was raised in the household of his grandfather, Jacob Keffer. His mother married a William Harless and had eleven more.

    1. Re: Lillian Keffer
    2. Hansford Crotty married Belzora Harless 11-19-1874 in Boone Co. I had wondered about the name being simular. You are saying they are one in the same. I have 13 children for Wm. Hansford and Belzora and one for Hansford Crotty. They should all go under William even though one carries the name Crotty????? I have Lillian as a Keffer.

    1. Lillian Keffer
    2. Lillian was a daughter of William Hansford Keffer and Belzora Washington Harless. William Hansford Keffer was a son of Huldah A. Keffer and John Crotty (never married - he was ordered to pay child support) William seemed to use the Crotty name when he felt like it. He and Belzora had 14 children.

    1. Myers Family
    2. Does anyone have information on Albert Myers (m) Virginia Cabell. His father was Lemuel Myers of Tazewell, Virginia. Lemuel Myers was a soldier in the Civil War and came through Boone County during the War. He met Letha Kissinger. She gave him a drink of water from the well. Two years later he came back to marry her. (This story was told to me by my late mother-in-law. Albert and Virginia were her parents). Anything on this family would be appreciated. Thanks, JoAnn
