Hello Berkeley county List! I copied a page of Marriages from Marriage Records of Berkeley, VA 1781-1854. I am trying to identify which of the McGlaughlin/McLaughlins are connected. Three of them around 1790 were married by Rev. David Young. The last two columns on the page include letters and numbers. Example: gc 2 or cr 11 or mr 35 I did look at the information that explained these symbols but I can't remember what it said. I seem to remember that gc stood for German Church, but just what church was David Young pastor of and where was it located? Thanks for any help you can give me!
