Sharon, It is a transcription of the cemetery records from a particular cemetery or cemeteries in a certain geographic area. The one that I am referring to is the one published by the Berkeley County Historical Society titled "Cemeteries of Martinsburg and Berkeley County, West Virginia. They may be contacted at: Berkeley County Historical Society P. O. Box 1624 Martinsburg, WV 25402 You will want to visit their web page at: http://www.bchs.org If you have extensive research in that area, you may want to consider joining this society as they offer a great newsletter and lots of publications for sale that you would find helpful. I have been a member for quite a few years and find this group to be extremely helpful as I live a thousand miles away in Florida. Personally, as a genealogical teacher/instructor, one of the first things I recommend to students is to join a genealogical and/or historical society in the prime areas of your research, it is well worth the few dollars a year!
