Regarding German-Lutheran church records, I would consider the following sources: 1)Lutheran Archives Center at Philadelphia 7301 Germantown Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19119 2)Abdel Ross Wentz Library Lutheran Theological Seminary, Gettysburg, PA 17325 Both contain significant collections of German congregational and pastoral records. 3)LDS Family History Library - check their on-line library catalog @ http://www.familysearch.org 4)Berkeley Co.WV Historical Society - Don Wood should know the accessibility of those records - I would actually start with this source first!
