I have posted this message to several sources, hoping someone has an answer. There seems to be a paper trail for those who have bought and sold land, made wills. etc. Where does one go to find a relative who probably was dirt poor, and never did any lthing that would involve paper work? Some people have researched their families so thoroughly, that they know what they had for breakfast. I can't even determine my g-g-g-grandfather's first name or where he is buried. I just can't believe they all lived up in the mountains, and never had any contact with the world. CAn someone point into which direction I should search? I'd be grateful for any pointers. Carol
