Hi I am searching for a family of Brooks. They were listed on the 1787 Tax List in Berkely County, VIrginia. I will gladly trade info or pay for copies for anyone having info on this family. Paul Brooks married in Newtown Penn January 15th, 1784 and then shows up on the tax list of Berkley. Then on to Shelby County, Kentucky. Was this a migration route for early settlers? Thanks Bev Wyman
