Sorry if this seems posted twice. I didn't see the original posting should there have been one. I still am in need of some help locating this family buried at Green Hill. Thanks, Karen -----Original Message----- From: Karen Hangsleben [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Tuesday, July 06, 2004 7:42 AM To: '[email protected]' Subject: Green Hill Cemetery help locating unmarked grave In 1911, Franklin Pierce Custer was buried at Green Hill according to newspaper accounts of the day. His burial is not noted in the printed Green Hill Cem. abstract. I assume he was buried without benefit of a monument. I'm wondering who else might be buried on the "family" plot. He was married at the time of his death to a Willa (aka Nellie or Willie) Otty Custer. If I wrote to the Green Hill Cem on Burke St., what are the chances I would hear a reply? Is there another place where cem. records are kept to either call or write for information? I'd be happy to call or would welcome assistance from another list subscriber who lives in the local calling area. Thanks for any assistance. Karen Nelson Hangsleben
