I am seeking the location of Edward Strodes land. One reference places it at the junctipon of Opequon Creek and the Potomac and state he erected a fort there called Strodes Fort. Can anyone confirm this? Also one of the Fairfax grants mentions a Strode near Watkins Ferry Road. Where might that be? Another gran mentins Strodes Meeting Road. Where might that be?
