My John Anderson married twice in Berkeley County, once in 1794 and then again in 1799. He was in CharlesTown owning land by 1802. I got all his land records from 1802 to 1813 from Jefferson County. I think he ownded land in CharlesTown prior to 1802..would those records be in Berkeley county? If so, where would I write (or call) to get that information? Would certainly appreciate any help on this. Susan
