Please excuse duplicate postings to different lists. [email protected] was the high-speed internet provider to about 4 million subscribers, including 850,000 on AT&T. A federal judge allowed Excite to "pull the plug" midnight Saturday if it couldn't negotiate with cable providers, such as Cox, Comcast and AT&T. Excite and AT&T negotiations broke down and AT&T stopped its service early Saturday. According to an article available at the URL listed below, AT&T is slowly restoring internet and e-mail service to its customers. However, if you have sent or are sending messages to anyone with home.com in their address and your messages bounce back, your recipient may be a victim of this.
