I am new to this list and am looking for information on where I might find out more about this family. Folowing is part of a letter that I have. It was written in 1904 and Jessie was born abt.1886 and would have graduated from the high school in Martinsburg. "Mark (Marquess) still is in the Woolen Mill here, has charge of the finishing department. He get $2.50 a day. Jessie daughter) is going to learn the Millinery trade in the spring. Sincerly, Olive Walter, 526 W. John St. Martinsburg, W. Va." I have looked in the 1900, 1920 and 1930 census, but the name must transcribed differently as Walter and Walter soundex does not bring it up. Any direction you can give me on this would be appreciated. Bev Rogers
