For those interested, this year's Berkeley Journal, published by the Berkeley County Historical Society, will be titled "The Civil War in Bunker Hill, Gerrardstown and Darkesville." If you are a member of BCHS, you will get a copy as a benefit of membership. If not, the book should be available to give (or receive) as a Christmas gift and can be purchased through BCHS http://www.bchs.org The 2000 Berkeley Journal, "The Civil War in Berkeley County," has been reprinted and is available now from BCHS. Also the current issue of Blue & Gray magazine features a very nice article about the Battle of Falling Waters in northern Berkeley County, written by BCHS's Gary Gimbel.
