Dunkers or Dunkards are terms referring to what was sometimes called "German Baptist Brethren." There have been splits in this group. Grace Brethren is indeed one of the offshoots. The Church of the Brethren is the one I am most familiar with. The United Brethren are a totally different group. Carolyn
