Samuel Wright was born about 1757; he married Susanna Melvin in Berkeley Co., VA 28 Sept. 1785, and he and Susanna lived in Jefferson Co., VA in 1810. I believe he is the same Samuel Wright who was a lawyer in Berkeley County, VA before Jefferson branched off from Berkeley. Samuel Wright died July 6, 1818, aged 61 years, and Susanna (Susan) died May 31, 1825, aged 63 years. They are both buried on Altona, the Davenport Farm, in Jefferson County, WV.
