    2. Wilmer L. Kerns
    3. Yes, I have an Elizabeth Ann Wise, born in January 1830 and died July 7, 1901 in Fulton County, PA. She married Robert Albert Kerns (1830-1909). They were married on Feb. 14, 1852 in Cumberland, MD. They lived in the Hancock area early-on, but settled in Bethel Township of Fulton County, on or near the MD/PA State line. You will find them on the 1900 US Census for Fulton County, Bethel Twnshp, Family # 31. Am told that they lived in Pennsylvania because of their sympathy for the Union side of the War. Robert served in a PA military unit. Wilmer L. 1. [Berkeley Co WV] Cemetery Book(s)
    2. The Berkeley County Historical Society has published 4 cemetery Books. The first one was published about 1990. The society used WPA records and cemetery readings. It is titled Cemeteries of Martinsburg and Berkeley Co. WV. In about 2004 the society decided to visit and read all the cemeteries in the county to look for new graves and corrections. There were too many for a separate volume so it was decided to publish 3 volumes. They were divided by districts. They are called Cemeteries of Berkeley Co. WV - vol.1; Arden, Gerrardstown, & Mill Creek districts - vol 2; Falling Waters, Hedgesville & Martinsburg districts - vol. 3; Opequon district. They can be obtained from the Beckley County Historical Society in Martinsburg. 304-267-4713, PO box 1624, Martinsburg, WV 25402, 136 E. 3. Viola, You may go to the Berkeley County Historical Society's web page listed here: http://www.bchs.org   then click on "shop" at the top of the page and it will direct you to their items for sale including the Berkeley County Cemetery books plus much more.  Even though I live in Florida, I have been a member of this society for a number of years & find their publications most helpful as well as the volunteers there.  Happy Researching!   Ann M.
