Janet ~~~~~~~ Thomas Jefferson Armstrong was born August 1837 in Harrison County. His mother was Isabel (I have also seen her as Abigail) and known siblings were Alfred, Stephen, and Daniel. He appears in Barbour County Census in 1850 with his mother and these siblings. In later years, he appears in the census data as "Jefferson", he married Lydia Adams on Feb. 20, 1866 in Barbour County, WV and they had the following children: Anice, Carrie, Florentine, Garnet, Margaret, Laverna, Alford and Isaac. Thomas Jefferson died in 1913 and is buried in Stringtown Cemetery, Barbour County, WV. Lydia died in 1910 and is buried by his side. I would love to hear from anyone researching this family and will share what I have from Jefferson forward.
