Patti, Wes Cochran's address is 2515 10th Ave., Parkersburg, WV 26101-5829, and you can get a list of his books and cost at www.rootsweb.com/~wvwood/wes.htm. He pays postage and usually sends my orders by return mail. The 1850 Barbour Co. census has Mary Tallman, 35, b. VA with several children, including David, age 5. He was still living with his widowed mother in 1860, age 16. Do you know whether your D. Tallman had siblings? It's so frustrating to find a link to an ancestor but can't find the final proof we need. I hope the marriage record from Barbour will give you some good information. Let me know how it turns out and if I can help further. By the way where do you live?
