----------------- I've been working on the Lesher family in Barbour (one of the lost family names) recently. I've found one challending problem. Isaac B. Marsh was married twice. His second wife was a child, one of seven siblings that survived their father Jacob Lesher and Ann Mary Coffman to become heirs of 1/7 each of a farm of about 100 acres on Little Cove Run. (Mary Lesher was living with what appears to be her daughter and son-in-law in Taylor county in 1850, two other daughters and their husbands lived next door.) We have found a brief history of the Marsh family that speaks rather extensively of Isaac B.'s first wife and sons, but seems quite unaware of Isaac B.'s marrige to Jacob's daughter sometime before 1850 (she is the wife listed in the census). Were all of Isaac's children of his first wife? Did she died before he came to Barbour? Or after arriving? There may be a marriage record in Randolph, but I've not found it. There is no record of marriage of marriage bond in the appropriate period (i.e., before 1850) in Barbour county. Nick
