Pat, I have two GAINER foremothers. One of my gg grandmothers was Elizabeth Gainer, daughter of George and Sarah (Vannoy) Gainer. She married John Fling in Randolph Co., and they raised a large family in Gilmer Co., where they died. Their daughter Mary Jane (Polly) Fling married my great grandfather, David Potter Ayers. My second line is from Margaret Gainer, daughter of Bryan Gainer. She married my 4th great grandfather Samuel Ayers. You have them listed in the 2nd Generation on p. 2 of your descendancy chart. I have a lot of information you have and some you don't have, but I haven't had a chance to check anything except the first page. I notice you don't have anything other than Margaret's marriage, so I'll send my information for her descendants. I hope my chart will come through as well as yours did.
