This is a theory and I will appreciate anyone who can either help confirm it or shoot holes in it. My GGrandfather was Andrew Ball and he and his family resided in the St. George area of Tucker County, WV. Andrew married Ingaby or Ingabee Hovatter in Tucker County on March 23, 1883. His parents are listed as Samuel and Elizabeth Ball. My theory is that this Samuel Ball was born to William H. Ball who was born in Randolph County, WV December 16, 1796. Samuel was born in 1840. William and his wife, Christina Parsons relocated to North Missouri in 1854 and he died there in 1872. Can anyone help me verify that William's Samuel had a Son, Andrew? I can find no other Samuel in or around that part of WV that would be my Samuel Ball. Thanks to anyone who can assist me.
