My father does not recognize any of them, but he was not close to his maternal grandmother and most of the other people in my direct line died young. Once I get them scanned, I'll put them on www.photobucket.com.  I'm not selling them.  I pay for unlimited space so I can upload large resolution images.  You CAN buy copies, but you can also just download them for free.  What I'm looking for is help identifying who these people are.  I know who the are NOT, but that isn't too much help.  Once I get them all together and cleaned up I'll post another note to this list.  I'd like to get these images out there to preserve them.  I'll include some notes with my next post in a couple weeks or less.  I also have a photo of a painting and some other documents I!  'll include for my many 4th cousins out there who might want them for documentation.  Some of these are originals and they need to be preserved.  Putting them in a fire safe is fine, but I want people to be able to use them for research.  I still don't have time to do much genealogy, but this may be a help to others.   Thanks, Bruce D. 1. Re: [WVBARBOU] Johnson's Ferry House
    2. There is no documented evidence when the Johnson's Ferry House was built. When the property was researched by a committee for the State when acquired by the state which became part of the NJ Washington's Crossing State Park, The information of the committee was used. Since he lived there or moved there after his father, Rutgers Johnson died before 28 April 1749, Garrett was given credit for building the house; thus, named Johnson's Ferry House. The house was remodeled at one time at least expanding the roof which is obvious when observing the house in person. I was told by the lady who took care of the House when I visited the property thru the last 15 years that; sadly, the papers of the committee mentioned above had never been found.
