    1. [WVA] Gleason/Cunningham connection
    2. Elizabeth Gleason, widow of John Gleason, was living in WV and is shown in the 1880 census there. Also in the home is a William Cunningham, age 50. In the 1870 VA census Elizabeth is there -- John having died in 1869. BUT William Cunningham is also there, both in the Amsterdam district of Botetourt County. William is shown as age 40 and lived in the same house with others named Cunningham: Mary E (F), age 46; Rose L. (F), age 15; Ann J., (F), age 13; James M. (M), age 8. Does anyone know anything about this family? In the 1900 Kanawha Co., WV census, Brownstown Precinct, William is living there and is shown as being born, Feb. 1830. He was married and had been for 9 years (ca. 1891). He was married to Elizabeth Cunningham, b. Jan 1861. This cannot be my Elizabeth since she was b.1832/33. But also in that family are Gleasons: John Gleason, age 28; William Gleason, age 13; and ____ Gleason, age 9. Each of their relationships to William is shown as "stepson". Does anyone have a thread which when pulled will unravel or begin to unravel this mixed up affair? I will so much appreciate any help. Thank you and my blessings, Love and Peace Ethel Adams Peace, EthlSAdams@aol.com Researching: Adams, Baker, Basham, Coleman, Ferrell, Gleason, McNairy, Oswalt, Pixley, Rogers, Runnells, Stone, Stover, Weaver
