Is there a place where you can order survey maps? In tracing my family line, it has become necessary to identify the rivers they lived on the determine their locations. There are quite a few in several different townships in different counties that I need to map. I bought Dr. Hively's book on plotting your ancestor's location through maps but am not ready for that yet. In his book he tells you how to take the detail description of the deeds and draw out the land where he lived. It is possible to recreate a whole community if one had the desire to do it. Very timely project but very interesting. Dr. Hively has done several townships in York Co. PA. I just need a good map of specific locations of townships in counties of WV. I like to Topo Zone maps but they limit the area you can view and are not transferable to my graphic program to print them. The Ginis maps are not quite detailed enough. I think I'll probably have to buy these maps so if you know of a place, please reply. You all have been most helpful and I do appreciate it.
