Mike, have you contacted the cemetery officials and explained your direct connection and reason for your search? I did this and even though they wouldn't give me the exact information, they did give me the name of the person who provided the information to them so I could contact that person. Even this information may not prove useful if they died long ago as that person may also be dead. The cemetery may also give you whatever dates or information are contained on the headstones. You might also find some kind soul who would be willing to go to the cemetery and photograph the headstones for you or at least give you the dates.
