Hi Listers, It's so nice to see how everyone is trying to help everyone else on this site so I'm asking for some help, too. No matter how hard I've tried, I cannot find a baptism record for my father. He is listed in the 1880 Wetzel Co. Proctor District as being one (1) year old and having been born in WV. I found baptism records for his two younger brothers at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Meade District, Marshall Co. but they have no record on my father. His birth date is said to be 2 April 1879. His family left Ohio in 1877 for WV then they moved to PA about 1886. PLEASE can someone help me? This is my father! Not someone from a long time ago! After 10 years of searching, I'm really getting frustrated. Many, many thanks to any and all who respond.
