Last year I got a death certificate from Charleston. the death was in 1918 and the person was born in 1894. The death certificate showed both dates. Why don't you try asking for the death cetificates first and you will have the exact date of birth? Also you will find the names of the deceased parents. I remember when I called Charleston to ask where to get my information the told me in was in the ARCHIVES. Try this and if it does not work, write again and I will see what else I can come up with.
