Harvey Curtis died May 06, 1907 in Leon, Mason co., WV and had children.. 1. James H. born 1881 md Esther L. Parsons May 08, 1910 in Mason Co., WV 2. Ida born 1884 md perry Sayre 3. John W. born 1885 md Stella A. Knapp June 24, 1908 in Mason co., WV 4. Ernie born 1888 md Mary Carsen 5. George Allen born 1891 md Wretha Parsons in 1922 It says Harvey and Rachael(died July 02, 1919) are buried in Leon Cemetery this does not say where or what happened to HannahWaugh Rairden. Now I am reading your letter and you mention an Aunt Hannah? George allen Rairden was a legislator in Charleston..(My dad knew him..he would talk abt George..George had a children Donald L. born in 1922 and and Nancy born in 1929. who married Harold Bowman .. Leon is up the Kanawha River ..if you have a map of WV you can find it..There is hardly anything left now.. Now is this first marriage to Hannah Waugh where you come down from?. and where does Cecelia fit in? is this William's wife?or is Rachael McDaniel's other name Cecelia?..hope I am not confusing here...and were they in Ripley too? that is abt 25 miles from Point Pleasant so maybe abt 15 from Leon....So do you come down from Marion? I hope we can get a lead on Hannah..but the Waughs are a hard line to connect to any other Waughs..She may have been from Oh but lots of Mason county people went over there across the Ohio river to get married...I have been in Niagara Falls..? as that close to Syracuse? One Family site is a nice place you could have your Rairden site on and invite others that are researching the same Rairden lines to join..and you can have "chat Night" and you can talk to each other if you have a microphone. you have to set up passwords....attached to your computer..you have to download a voice thing..I still don't know much abt it but I am on several groups..Well if I see the info I will send..It is probaby easy but I like to see things done first..let me know if this makes any sense!?.
