    3. Hello: I live in St Mary's County Maryland which is 40 miles SE of Washington DC. We have a huge Mattingly population here. I believe that Mattingly was one of the original founding names of Maryland. Our county was settled in 1634 and the Mattingly family has stayed and intermarried here. Maryland keeps its old records at the Hall of Records in Annapolis (I think). I am not sure because my family is all from WV. I moved here as a child and don't do Maryland research. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] <[email protected]> To: [email protected] <[email protected]> Date: Sunday, August 15, 1999 2:19 PM Subject: [WVA] Moorefield, WVA >Hi, everyone!
