Dear Julie, I have done a very little bit of research on Harris's in Virginia. I do not see any match, but it is very easy to send you what I have in that time frame--even though I have no real hope of finding a match.... My Harris family also starts in Virginia and ends up in WV...although my people come to the southern part--the coal fields... I start with William Harris whose known children are Nancy, William, John, Anderson, Lucy, Richard, and Samuel W. born between 1779 and 1795. My husband comes down from Samuel W. I know that they were living in Virginia--but I do not know where yet. My Samuel W. then marries Nancy Apperson and they have 10 children. Sarah Ann, Rebecca Katherine, Martha Jane, Thomas Jefferson, Malinda Levitta, Mary L. John, Elizabeth F. and Samuel Sterling who were born between 1827 and 1848. I am pretty sure that Samuel Sterling was born in Appomatix Virginia. I have more on later generations and I have specific dates on the people named above. But that is pretty much all that I have at this point. Just sending it along in case you see a fit somewhere...Marsha in WV "B.
