Bob, According to "The Handy Book for Genealogists": Harrison Co., WV County Clerk has birth records beginning in 1853. (Of course back in the 1700s it was part of VA -- WV didn't become a state until 1863.) They would have been sporadic at best back then because it was not a law for births or deaths to be recorded. The law didn't take effect until 1917, but even then it wasn't fully complied with until probably sometime in the 1920s. I think you're out of luck on this request -- unless maybe you can find someone who has a Family Bible (if there was one). Sorry.
