When I started working on the family tree I was given a handwritten list of ancestors passed on from a long dead aunt. It has proven very useful, but I still have two names I have had no luck finding any info on. Hannah Darr b 1827 in Cameron Marshall Co., VA She was married in 1847 to Jacob Howard. Anna Fortney (Pressinger) b 1815 in PA She married Jacob Matthews who died in Marshall Co., WV in 1881 so Anna may also have spent time in VA/WV. If these families are familiar please drop me a line.
