Hello All! Just wondering if anyone has any ideas regarding estates? I have an estate which belongs to my ggrandmother, Price Arthur. Price STILTNER Arthur b. 07Aug1869 d. 25 Feb1923 buried in Big Run Cemetery(Anyone have directions to this cemetery?). Just recently I received her death certificate stating that her parents were Martha Woods and Jackson Stiltner. Also, recently a granddaughter of Price had information written down that she copied for me from her mother Wilma Goldy ARTHUR Mann(Price's daughter)that her maiden name was Carter. It was written as Prisy Carter. Was she married once before my ggrandfather Lee Anderson Arthur? I'm sure the death records would be correct, right? I have contacted the court house in Webster Springs, with no findings of an estate. I received the name of the estate from the tax assessor's office in Webster Springs but that is all they said that they had. So if there is an estate, why can't anyone find any records? Anyone have any idea? A! lso, why wouldn't my ggrandfather's name be on it? Was it from her side of the family? I know their is land involved with other things being involved also. Can anyone shed any light on this topic? Anything to help me break this wall!!!! Thanks, Faith To e-mail me directly: blount@digital.net

Hello, Is there a Mt. Zion Church? If so, do you have an address or telephone #? I know there is a Mt. Zion Cemetery in Webster County. I was wondering if there was a church nearby the cemetery? Also, if I could have directions to both that would be great. Thanks, Faith To e-mail me directly: blount@digital.net
Hi, Listers, I have recently taken over the list from Adrianne and would like you to know that you can email me with any questions or comments that you have about the list. My email is tcf@genealogist.net I don't have a lot of rules....just that everyone be respectful of each other, no flame wars, no copyright violations, no selling or advertisements, no virus warnings, or chain letters. Lets just keep to genealogy so that we can help one another. I do have a comment to make on the thread that was started in regards to un subscribing people. Part of the list admin's duties is to help people subscribe and un subscribe. I am sorry that it seems to bother some folks, but, it can't be helped. I don't want anymore said about it on the list as it just snowballs and more comments are made. If you have to make a comment about it, email me personally. I hope that all of you find the info that you're looking for!! My best, Peggy Tebbetts

Hello All! Does anyone know if WV, mainly Webster Co. & Braxton Co. have Unions? If they do, does anyone know how far back unions go or when they started? Might be a good lead for all, to search our ancestors via their work habits. Thanks, Faith To e-mail me directly: blount@digital.net
