Hello List, I think I deleted when I should have read. At the last second the name of Vanover flashed before my eyes. The daughter of Daniel Vanover was Ollie Baylock ( about 1826-after 1870) who was married on Nov. 1, 1841 in Floyd Co. KY to John Marshall Mullins 1808-1864. His father wa Arty Tucker Mullins. John Marshall Mullins was taken to prison during the Civil with his son Squire Mullins who had come home to Wyoming Co. to recuperate after being wounded. They both got measles there and the father died. The Mullins family with their widowed mother Ollie moved to Clay Co. WV soon after the War. Can anyone tell me anything about Ollie's parents or an apparant first marriage? All I have is the name Daniel Vanover. Does anyone know who Arty Tucker Mullins' wife was or any thing else? They were said to have come from NC to KY, then to Wyoming Co. Also looking for corrections. Linda

She was a bit older, mid-to late 20's, I believe during this time period. So she could have been independent of her parents, but still likely needed to be with a family group........and there were plenty to choose from that traveled with my Richard McCallister. David Jones and William S. Jones may be the same person. I find a marriage of both of them to the same person, Elizabeth A. Overfield....the marriages are listed as Sept. 12 and 13 1861.....So I really don't know what his real name is. His parents however were George and Margaret Jones. David aka William was born about 1816 in Ohio but at some point he does move to WV...Doddridge Co. and that is where he married Elizabeth. Did he come with his family? or as grown man? Anyone know of a George and Margaret Jones in WV???
