I don't have additional information on these individuals listed, but since many of the names will be familiar to those researching in the Metro Valley area, I thought I would post a copy in case it might be helpful to someone. Hi All, I'm new to this list and am looking for a newspaper that was in the area in 1911. My uncle, Edmund Cockburn, was 11 years old and was killed in an accident (not in the mines). He was buried in Montgomery (not sure where that is in relation to where the family was living in Kanawha (sp)county, WVA. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Esther Henry
Hello Everyone, I am a new subscriber to this list. Joseph Bibby born 1805 in Over Wyresdale, Lancashire, England was the son of Edward Bibby and Ellen Whiteside. Edward Bibby, born 1779 Ellel near Lancaster, was the brother of my great great great grandfather John Bibby, born 1777 Ellel. Edward was the best man at John's wedding. They were the sons of James Bibby and Elizabeth Askew. If there are any descendants of Joseph Bibby on this list, I would like to hear from them. Regards, Anne (nee Bibby) in Lancashire, England.
