    3. Hi Marilyn Thanks for looking......I don't know what happened to Malinda in the 1910 census It was just a long shot that she could be in the Weston State Hospital. Malinda was from Taylor County and her children lived in Taylor/Harrison and Marion Counties at the time of the 1910 census. Malinda was living with son Robert Janes in the Taylor Co. 1900 census then she's gone from there in the 1910 census, she didn't die until 1912 so I thought maybe since they said she was "senile" the family might have put her away.....or maybe the census taker missed her that year or maybe her son Robert locked her in the attic....LOL...just kidding! Do you know, was there a hospital like that around Taylor Co.? I have in the past talked to a few of her grandchildren (my great grandfather being one of them) and they said Malinda would forget her children and grandchildren's names and forget who she was and forget where she lived so they just called her "crazy or senile".....sounds like Alzheimer's to me..... All the Malinda's below don't fit at all so I guess she was missed Thanks for hunting for me Jana On Thu, 23 Oct 2003 12:43:32 EDT Tribehunter@aol.com writes: > Jana, > > The only Malinda showing up in Lewis County is a 72 yr. old Malinda > RILEY.
