Hi! Would someone be available to look for these individuals? They may not be part of the same household. Lester and James would be living in Diamond, according to my grandmother. Bertha's location is unknown. She may have already been married and not in this census. Thank you for your help, Concetta
I am trying to find Harry Owen Skinner, age 31/32, with wife Emma Jane, age same, with children William George (may be George William) Harry Owen, Jr, and Thelma Ruth. They should be located in Lewis County, but I am not finding them in the head of household index at Heritage Quest. If they are with someone else, I have not been creative enough to find them, if someone with a better index could search them out, I would really appreciate it. Thanks, Jane Hodges-Kuebler ________________________________________________________________ Sign Up for Juno Platinum Internet Access Today Only $9.95 per month! Visit www.juno.com
You'll usually get better response if you use a subject more in keeping with the format requested in your list subscription confirmation/welcome letter for all census lookup lists: YR/SURNAME,(first name)/COUNTY with other info relevant to the lookup in the body. If she was born in 1909, it's really very doubtful that she was married to her husband in 1910 or 1920. Do you have any idea what her parents' names were or in what county she was born? Clues might be found in either her death, marriage, or birth records. Diane Beloved01324@aol.com wrote: >I was wondering if someone could do a look up for 1910 and 1920. Hi Katie I guess it's possible that he died at that time but I don't think so, it's said that one of his son's attended his funeral after the date of 1910, but nobody can determine where the "funeral" of sorts was held, although it was in WV. I asked Larry Hefner for a cem lookup and a death lookup in Ritchie Co.....nothing. Benjamin was married to Frances A. Wilkinson Smith. I think Sarah Crouser was his sister in law or something but she wasn't his wife. Old Ben Crouser wasn't well liked by his family. Someone might have just dug a hole and shoved him in and not even gone to the courthouse to record it........ I do know that he didn't live with any of his children......none of them. The son Luther was on the 1900 Ritchie Co. Census with him, but Luther left the area not long after that. Benjamin was born and married in Wood Co. but after that lived in Ritchie Co. ...His death isn't found in Wood Co. either Thanks for looking Jana On Sun, 13 Apr 2003 12:35:04 -0400 "katieros" <katieros@ezwv.com> writes: > Hi Jana > > Is there a chance that Benjamin died between 1900 & 1910? Hi Jana Is there a chance that Benjamin died between 1900 & 1910? I find a Sarah B Crouser [or Crouse or Coouser] in the 1910 WV/Wood Co/Union Dist/ED #14 [Roll T624_1697 p231] age 56 (b WV/WV/WV) widowed, having had 2 children w/1 living. In her household is daughter Hazel Medcalf, age 17 (b WV/OH/WV) w/husband Henry Medcalf, age 21. Katie
You mentioned that you were going to receive your next webster census. I am interested in Jefferson Co, however. Where do you purchase the census, I presume you get it on a CD. Thanks, Gloria
Hi Maria THanks, no, I wouldn't have any idea anything else to seek with. Maybe the spelling Crousse. He lived in Ritchie Co. in 1900 and in Wood Co. 1880. That's all I know. Sorry, no Benjamin in WVA by any of the spellings you list. There are a few others, at least one by each surname spelling, but I would need more to go on to connect. Hi, Could SKS please look for Benjamin Jackson Crouser in 1910 census? Probably in Ritchie Co. but could be in Harrison or Wood Co. He would have been about 49 years old. Born in WV Thank you, Jana

Sorry, I did not have any luck in either West Virginia or the United States for a Nettie Hess of that age range. Donna
I was wondering if someone could do a look up for 1910 and 1920. I am wanting information if at all possible on Nettie Bell Hess born 7/26/1909 and died 5/12/98. She was married to Alfred Ross Richardson. Thanks so much. Heather
I am seeking Nathan Kerns/Kern, born 1828 VA (WVA), wife Louisa. Also in 1850 with wife Nancy. Thanks for your help. Jane Hodges-Kuebler ________________________________________________________________ Sign Up for Juno Platinum Internet Access Today Only $9.95 per month! Visit www.juno.com
