Donna, I'm not sure if W. VA was established yet in 1830, but I found 1 BUCKLEY family in Kanawha county, VIRGINIA in 1830. Family member's names are not listed until the 1850 census, so can't be sure if this is the correct family. I think enumeration began on June 1st, so Samuel should be designated in the "male under 5" column, but it's blank. Enumeration district 21-11 Roll 626_2539 image 3A and 3B.He rented for 10 dollars a month, was age 26 when he first married. Wife is Dona C, 35 yr old who first married at the age of 19. Both were born in WV, as well as both their parents. Both worked in the glass factory as a laborer.
