    3. Mary, I took a look at one of the enumeration districts for Monongalia County, ED 86, described on Ancestry as Magisterial Districts; Union district. Lewis and Louisa did not appear in that district. However, there was a Chisler family (image 17) that might be related: George Chisler, 47, married 18 yrs, born PA, father born PA, mother born WV, farmer. Wife, Car****, 37, born WV, father born WV, mother born WV 2 daughters, 3 sons, all born WV If you would like additional info about this family, let me know, and I'll transcribe the rest. 3. Dear Listers: Seeking a look up from the Clay County 1900 census for a Worthy Dow Vaughn, born 1892. I'm sorry that I cannot give more information than that. I do know he married in 1923 and said he was residing in Nicholas County but he is not found in the 1920 census for Nicholas (Thanks again, Jan). He also did not give the names of his parents on his marriage record. He married a Clara O'Brien in 1923. She was born 1907 in Pocahontas County. Thank you so much for your time. 2. Donnie Nazelrod
    3. Jane - I have very little information on this couple - I know that Aunt Almira was out of her parents household in 1900, and not listed elsewhere in Allegany County, MD, so I'm assuming that she was married by then (have not found an Allegany County marriage license for her). They had one daughter, b. 1905, and Floyd died sometime before the 1910 census when she was a widow living in her brother's household. The census indicates the daughter's father was born in Maryland, but I would not rely on that information. Aunt Almira died in Allegany County, MD, in 1918 with consumption and is buried in the cemetery where her parents and most of her siblings are buried - Mr. Miller is not buried there. I had hoped to find them across the Potomac in Mineral County. Guess I'll have to come up with some other game plan. Thank you so much for looking for me - I least I now know that WV is the the direction in need to look in. Donnie Nazelrod > Donnie, > There were only two Floyd Miller's listed in WV. 3. Donnie, There were only two Floyd Miller's listed in WV. One was in Randolph County, New Interest District, page 174. He is a boarder, single, born in 1882. The second was in Mercer County, Rock district, page 232. I cannot read his age, but he was born in NC and although it appears he is listed as married the only person living with him was a Robert Miller. There were no Floyd Miller listings in Maryland--as I suspect you already know. Do you have any additional information on Floyd?
