Thanks....Pam -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] Date: Mon, 28 May 2001 12:01:09 -0700 To: [email protected] Subject: WV-CENSUS-LOOKUP-D Digest V01 #41 > -- _______________________________________________ Get your free email from http://www.mail.com
Hi List, Could I please have a lookup for Silas Tuttle in West Liberty twp. or town for 1860 page 435. He would be about 18. He would probably be somewhere in that area in 1870, also. He didn't marry my grgrandmother, Julia Rodgers, until maybe 20 yrs. later so I don't know his marital status at that time. I'm hoping he was still living at home and his family info is available. Thanks again, Charline
I'm searching for info on the following family. I'm including all info I think may be of help. How the family would be listed in 1920 is hard to predict due to the mother had reportedly run off with the traveling preacher and father then commited suicide. Oldest kids reportedly were raising the younger kids, and the very oldest may have been married and gone. It is uncertain whether they were in McDowell County yet in 1920, or if they were in Greenbriar or in Va, KY or NC. But Howard raised his children in McDowell County. Fain, Nellie, 20 Howard, 17 Albert or Frank, 15 Cassie, 13 Minnie, 10 Elwood, ? Bill, ? Leonard, 3 the family: Samuel H. Fain, dob: 19 Jun 1877 VA Rosa E. Elwood, ? Bill or William, ? Any help would be very appreciated. It's been very difficult obtaining ANY info on this family. Mary Coleman

I recently asked for help looking for a Robert Collins in these two Census reports. He was not there, but what about a R. H. Collins. Or even a Sarah Collins listed as head of household. I am just trying to cover all my bases. Thanks for your help, Monica
Apologies. I'd neglected to note that Highland Co lies across the border in VA. >I'd be grateful for details of the household of Reuben Lantz in the >1880 >Highland County census.
I'd be grateful for details of the household of Reuben Lantz in the 1880 Highland County census.
Hi all, Is anyone else getting emails with no messages? I get emails from the WV census list, but when I open them - there is no message there! What the deal???????? ....Pam -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] Date: Sat, 26 May 2001 02:01:08 -0700 To: [email protected] Subject: WV-CENSUS-LOOKUP-D Digest V01 #39 > -- _______________________________________________ Get your free email from http://www.mail.com
Group! I received a virus that looked like it came from rootsweb.com but I think it was not from them. It was a replicating one which sent out messages and looked like it came from me..but it was not. I advise everyone to run their virus scan and to make sure their program is up to date. Hi Pamela, I'm getting some of those messages as well. Sometimes when I hit "reply", the missing message pops up as if to show what I am replying to. Weird! Laura, simply call your credit card company. They will probably also require you to write them a letter giving the details as well. If you document what you have done they may also reinstate back charges.
