Hello, My paternal great-grandfather was Charles H. (possibly Harrison?) LUCAS. He was born in an unknown location in OH in 1866. He died, in the Parkersburg area between 1912-1916. He shows up in the 1912 Parkersburg directory with his wife, Lottie. The next directory in 1916, Lottie is listed as a widow. I have submitted letters to the funeral homes in the Parkersburg area that were in operation during this time. No luck, so far. I have written to Wood County for a death cert, no luck there either. They tell me they do not have one, or perhaps my information is in-complete. I would truly appreciate any information on cemeteries that may have LUCAS' in them. I have been searching for this man for 13 years now, and I am beginning to think he is forever lost. I thank you for reading this and for any help.
