If so and one of them took the 37 marker Y-DNA test at Family Tree DNA (currently on sale for $119), then you would know for sure if your Sgt Samuel Wright was related to the early New England Wrights of Springfield and Northampton, MA (Deacon Samuel Wright (1606-1665) or to Thomas Wright of Wethersfield, CT (1610-1670. In any case having the results of that test would focus your research on the correct Wright line, of which there are well over 100 that trace their origins back to colonial days in America.
