Occupation: farming 8. Physical state? Not strong, wounded in left leg. 9. In what state was the command in which you served organized? Indian Territory 10. Served 4 years, enlisted Sept. 1861 to close of war. 11. Co. G, 1st Cherokee Regiment 12: Not transferred. 13. Enlisted in cavalry. 14. Rank of private. 15. Regular service. 16. Own home? None 17.
