Samuel had an uncle Joseph Thaddeus Sylvester Wright born 1844 in West Virginia. I don't know if he was ever in Indiana. In 1850 he was in Missouri and died in Missouri in 1880. His wife was Mary Frances Coyle from Missouri. Their children were Robert, William, Mary and Frank. I went a couple of generations back farther in the direct line and found no other Josephs. The family was in Clay County, Missouri for awhile but I found nothing in Indiana. Mainly Virginia, West Virginia, Kentucky, Missouri, a short stint in Oklahoma, and finally Oregon.
