I goofed on my reply just now when I compared your brother's matches to a Wright database. He would, of corse, not be matching with Wrights. I don't know how may Vaseys and variant are in Ancestry.com's database, but from what I have seen with other surnames, there are likely not many if any. I did check to see if the company I use have any Vasey's in their database. There is a small surname DNA project with this surname and variants. At this time they have six -- not a large database.
