In addition, I found your Ancestry.com tree and noticed that you did not have the ancestry of James A. Wright and thought I would add that at the end of this posting. The marriage record of E. F. Wright and Emily Jamerson was dated on December 21, 1909, in Buckingham County, Virginia: "Marriage License Virginia, Buckingham County to wit: To any Person Licensed to Celebrate Marriages: You are hereby authorized to join together in the Holy State of Matrimony, according to the rites and ceremonies of your Church, or religious denomination, and the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, E F Wright and Emily Jamerson Given under my hand, as Clerk of the Circuit Court of Buckingham this 21st day of Dec 1909 W J Hubard Clerk Certificate to Obtain a Marriage License Time of Marriage, 22 Place of Marriage, Buckingham Full Names of Parties Married, E F Wright & Emily Jamerson Color, White Age of Husband, 34 Age of Wife, 21 Condition of Husband, Single Condition of Wife, Single Place of Husband's Birth, Buckingham Place of Wife's Birth, " Place of Husband's Residence, " Place of Wife's Residence, " Names of Husband's Parents, Jas & Lizzie Wright Names of Wife's Parents, J D & Molie Jamerson Occupation of Husband, Farmer Given under my hand this 21st day of Dec 1909 W J Hubard Clerk. Certificate of Time and Place of Marriage. I, J J Spencer, a Minister of the Baptist Church, or religious order of that name, do certify that on the 22 day of Dcr 1909, at John Jamerson, under authority of the above License, I united in Marriage the persons named and described therein. Given under my hand this the 31st day of Dcr 1909 J J Spencer" My records also list James A. Wright as the: 1) son of William Wright (Buckingham County, VA) and Sally (_____) Wright, 2) grandson of 1803 (year of death) John Wright of Cumberland County, VA, (place of death) and Nancy (Anglea) (Wright) Dodson, 3) great grandson of 1770 John Wright of Cumberland County, VA, and Elizabeth (_____) (Wright) Anderson, and 4) great great grandson of 1769 George Wright of Essex County, VA, and his first wife _____ (_____) Wright. The identification of William Wright (Buckingham County, VA) as the son of 1803 John Wright is a probable identification based on circumstantial evidence. If we could find a male Wright descendant of your James A. Wright who would be willing to participate in the Wright DNA Project, we could confirm this identification by comparing Y-DNA sequences. Do you know of any such Wright descendant? Best wishes, Robert N.
