"Al" Wright, 79, of Richmond Dale, died peacefully 2:20 p.m. Sunday, September 16, 2012 at his residence while surrounded by his loving family. He was born January 15, 1933, in Ross County, Ohio to the late Floyd and Marie Stockman Wright. In 1954, he married the former Evelyn French, the mother of his children, who died in 1993. In 2000, he married the former Maxine Riley who survives; also surviving are children, Connie (Bryce) Brown, of Five Points, OH, Steven E. (Julie) Wright, of Lancaster, OH and Todd A. (Kim) Wright, of Morrow, OH; a son-in-law, Bud Yingling, of Amanda; 15 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; a brother, Floyd W. "Booge" (Juanita) Wright, of Richmond Dale; his 100 year old mother-in-law, Ethel French, recently of Chillicothe, Ohio formerly of Richmond Dale; three brothers-in-law; seven sisters-in-law; nieces and nephews; and lifelong friends, especially, the Tom Crawford Family. He was predeceased by brothers, Richard, Rev. George "G.T." and Larry Wright; an infant sister; and four brothers-in-law. Ellsworth served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He retired from DuPont. Al was a member of the Richmond Dale Baptist Church, the American Legion and the NRA. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and outdoorsman. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, September 21, 2012 in the Richmond Dale Baptist Church with Rev. Bill Nichols officiating. Burial will follow in Little Mound Cemetery where military graveside rites will be conducted by the Ross County Veterans Honor Guard. Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Adena Hospice, 111 W.
